Iddero continues improving the functionality of them touch screens day after day and now they are deploying the new firmware version, 1.9. This firmware, like the previous firmware’s, is totally compatible with all the screens that have been sold.
Among the various improvements, we can highlight the following ones:

• Support for video entry phone events: It allows to send telegrams to the KNX bus when different events are produced. I.e. incoming call.
• Visual identification of the calling video entry phone in installations with more than one
• Improvements in logic functions: Now you can use the telegram converters to change between two numeric DPTs whatever (before it just was possible using binary DPT as input)
• Some enhancements in the user interface

The joint presence at the l+b 2014 of KNX manufacturer Iddero and their official distributor also in Germany, Futurasmus KNX Group, has been highly positive for all parties. Also visitors were very positively surprised after a thorough look at the devices and didn’t hesitate to recommend others to come and see for themselves.

Iddero keeps on optimizing its touch panels and now we are once more amazed by their newest and very attractive update , which will be available as from today.

The main feature of their latest release is the new scenes module. Up to now, their touch panels offered a classic KNX scene module where the scenes were kind of a “picture” of the status of actuators. From now on, we can still use this pattern, but we will also be able to select a new element in which scenes might be edited by the end user, who will be able to add delays between different actions .

On top of that, this new release includes bugfixes, standard improvements and the following updates:

-    The modification of the “Shutter” element, which now supports abolute positioning.
-    It supports the Catalanish language in the firmware.
-    Enhancements in the web interface, especially for Android smartphones.

Iddero keeps on delivering good news and optimizing their touch panels catalogue.

Now you can monitor IP cameras directly from Iddero's HC2-KNX and HC2L-KNX touch panels!

The new Iddero touch panels' firmware allows you to preview and monitor IP cameras in real time, directly from the touch panel. Most IP camera models from Axis, Mobotix, and Grandstream are supported (see complete list here). Additional manufacturers and models will be added in future releases.

This functionality can be enabled in existing touch panels by way of a firmware and software update (version 1.5). The update is free of charge.

Very few KNX components (not to mention touch screens!) are as reliable and robust as the touch displays from Spanish manufacturer Iddero. Ever since they were launched in 2009 they have provided excellent results, being the great approval among KNX professionals from many different countries their best guarantee.

Those who get to know and use them tend to plan them into all their systems. Nevertheless, both versions existing up to now (5,7” y 7”) might not be enough for homes and buildings that require a bigger size display.

That’s why, as a response to the requirements of many professionals, Iddero has presented the HC2L-KNX, with the same features as HC2, but 10,4”.
