Iddero launches new idderocloud service, makes connected homes easier than ever
Iddero today announced the launch of idderocloud, the company's innovative cloud-based remote access service. Idderocloud makes it easier than ever for users to connect to their Iddero KNX devices remotely in order to control and monitor their homes from anywhere, anytime, just as if they were sitting in their living room.
The idderocloud service is a breeze to set up. Users just need to create an account at www.idderocloud.com, and activate the idderocloud service in their Iddero products. The whole process can be completed in a matter of minutes, and does not require any additional effort. There is no need to worry about fixed IP addresses, dynamic DNS services, port forwarding, or reconfiguration of the home router.
The idderocloud service is available for IP-enabled Iddero products. Once enabled, transparent remote access is possible from any location using Android and iOS devices (smartphones and tablets) or through mainstream PC web browsers, as long as an Internet connection is available. All communications between the client device and the Iddero product are completely encrypted and 100% secure.
The idderocloud service is provided free of charge by Iddero, and can even be enabled on existing products by means of a backwards-compatible firmware upgrade. The service will be available starting on April.

The new AKS series offers more channels at less space, so lower costs per channel.
The MDT Switch Actuator receives KNX/EIB telegrams and switches up to 20 independent electrical loads. Each output uses a bistable relay and can be operated manually via a push button. A green LED indicates the switching status of each output.

Fancoil control - Switching Actuator 3-fold with fancoil operation
This extremely small device has outputs only to control the fan speeds, but its application program is prepared to control and entire fancoil. You can therefore combine it with any other actuator’s free channel for the valve and achieve a totally decentralized fancoil control.

MDT’s new switch actuator with fancoil operation
MDT has recently launched a flush-mounted actuator that can switch up to 3 independent electrical loads and control 3-speed fans/ventilator convectors.
• Functions in switch actuator mode:
- Time functions (switch-on/switch-off delay)
- Staircase light function with adjustable warning time
- Status response
- 8 scenes per channel
- Central switching functions
- Programmable behavior in case of bus voltage failure or return
• Functions in fancoil mode

- Direct operation by three 1Bit objects or a single 1Bit object (+/-)
- Automatic operation by 1Byte control value (0-100%)
- Suitable for 2-pipe/4-pipe systems
