All in one from Elsner: Temperature + Humidity + CO2 + display + buttons
- Temperature
- Absolute and relative humidity
- CO2
It also allows PI regulation of temperature (cooling, heating, additional heating and cooling ) PI regulation of CO2 (2 levels), dew point calculation, 4 temperature thresholds, 2 humidity thresholds, 4 CO2 thresholds, register of máximum and mínimum value, 8 AND logic functions with 4 inputs each, 8 OR logic functions with 4 inputs each, temperature / humidity and CO2 sensor failure detection and more interesting functionalities.
The display can show up to three lines, in each of which you can visualize the values measured by the sensor, as well as external values of 1 byte or 2 bytes, date, hour or chains of 14 bytes.
The two buttons integrated in the right and left lower corner allow to modify the desired temperature value of the integrated PI regulator, or to be used as KNX pushbuttons for switching, blind control, dimmer control, sending of 1 byte and 2 byte values or to call KNX scenes.
The BCU is integrated in the device as in all the products from this range.
The price is also very surprising, considering the great power and nice aesthetics of this component.

Improvements in the application program of the IPAS pushbuttons
Of course, they have kept their modern look, their robustness and the possibility of customization.
We would like to highlight the following updates:
• Complete shutter control with just one key: up, down, stop and slat control.
• Complete dimmer control with just one key: on, off, brightness up and down
• Send 1-byte-values (0…255=0..100%).
• Send two 1-byte-values with just one key, alternate between them (0…255=0..100%).
• Saving and executing scenes
• Increasing or decreasing a 1-byte-value on a step basis (10%,20%,25%,33%,50%)
Currently, the new application program is not available for push-buttons without temperature control, even though it will be ready soon.
The old versions will be discontinued and the new ones keep the same reference number, with ‘-0B’ at the end.
Please, visit the IPAS product pages on our web site and find more information about these and other IPAS products.

Iddero: Scenes editable by final user
The main feature of their latest release is the new scenes module. Up to now, their touch panels offered a classic KNX scene module where the scenes were kind of a “picture” of the status of actuators. From now on, we can still use this pattern, but we will also be able to select a new element in which scenes might be edited by the end user, who will be able to add delays between different actions .
On top of that, this new release includes bugfixes, standard improvements and the following updates:
- The modification of the “Shutter” element, which now supports abolute positioning.
- It supports the Catalanish language in the firmware.
- Enhancements in the web interface, especially for Android smartphones.
In order to see the complete list of improvements, you can download this document.
Both the firmware and the new editor versión are aready available on our web site :

Update of Intesis Overview
On the other hand, Intesis enlarges its offer with new Samsung (SM-AC-KNX-4/ 8) and LG (LG-AC-KNX-4/8) gateways for the control of up to 4 or 8 interior units each. Those of you who have used these components in the past might know that the existing gateways were meant for a maximum of 16, 64 or 128 interior units. Now, with these entries we can control a smaller number of interior units at a lower price.
In Futurasmus KNX Group we have updated the overview table with all the new components to offer a general, complete and updated summary. You can download it here.

KOMTECH IR-Modules
Now, the KOMTECH IR module family is available in four different versions, all of which share the following functionalities:
• Interfaces: 2x RS232; 4x IR; 4x Digital Out
• Integrated IR learing system
• 96 IR commands
• 48 RS232 commands
• 32 macros
• External power supply
• Incl. 2 IR transmitter diodes
Technical differences among them:
EIB/IR Module
- Integration in EIB/KNX projects
- IR control via EIB or RS232
- EIB/KNX address via enclosed software adjustable
LAN/IR Module
- Media control with integrated LAN connection
- Integration in LAN environment
- IR control via WLAN or RS232
- TCP/IP Address via enclosed software adjustable
WLAN/IR Module
- Media control with integrated WLAN connection
- Integration in WLAN environment
- IR control via WLAN or RS232
- TCP/IP Address via enclosed software adjustable
- Integrated WLAN antenna
COM/IR Module
- Universal useable media module
- IR control via RS232
Why are these new modules interesting for a KNX professional? Because some of the new KNX visualization programs can send IP and/or RS232 telegrams and can therefore integrate A/V equipment without the need to buy the KNX module (EIB/IR Module).
