If you have used Iddero panels in any of your installations, congratulations. You can now take part in the new contest that we are proposing hand in hand with this KNX manufacturer of touch panels.

Send us infromation of the projects where you have used Iddero panels and a jury will evaluate them to select two winners based on the following criteria:

• Technical quality of the project
• Technical quality of the material sent (pictures, texts)
• Relevance of the Iddero products used in the project context

Each project that you send us will count as a new participation, there is no limit in the number of participations per person/company.

In the Terms of the contest you can see the details about the information you need to gather of each project in order to send it to the E-mail address concurso@iddero.com

The deadline for sending the projects to participate in this contest is the 7th of September 2012.

The jury will choose two winners among all the projects registered, winners will receive the following prizes:

• 1st place winner: Iddero HC2L-KNX touch panel valued in 1.800€

• 2nd place winner: '2x1' voucher applicable to any Iddero product

The 2012 edition of the light+building fair in Frankfurt starts this week. From the 15th to the 20th of April more than 2000 exhibitors will show their products throughout the 11 halls of the exhibition centre.

light+building is without no doubt the most important international fair for lighting and building automation and as expected KNX will play a great roll and have a major presence in the event:

· More than 100 KNX manufacturers will show their products
· 2 stands from the KNX Association
· KNX City
· KNX Press Conference
· KNX TOP Event
· KNX Championship

The KNX manufacturers come to the light+building fair not only to show their current product range but also to introduce their new developments which will become a reality along the year. For this reason light+building has a huge impact within the KNX integrators, becoming the ideal opportunity to get to know those solutions that will be available in the next years.

In case any of you won’t have the privilege to attend this fair, Futurasmus will compile the most interesting news from the different manufacturers and will provide you with this information as soon as possible.

On the 8th and 9th of March 2012 Futurasmus KNX group will conduct in the city of Nicosia a theorical and practical course about the KNX visualization products Combridge Evolution and Combridge HCC.

Houseinhand is an application for KNX installation control via iOS terminals (iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch). With a friendly and intuitive interface, it allows to control installation components in a very simple way:

· Lighting/Dimming
· Blind/Shutter
· RGB
· HVAC
· Generic controllers of 1 bit and 1 byte
· Weather stations
· Scenes
· IP cameras (Mobotix and Axis)
· Technical alarms
· Audiovisual control (requires IRTrans or Global Cache)

Internet is a great information tool, but it might not replace personal contact. In 2012 we want to get to know you (our web users) and that is why we have arranged a series of KNX presentations and trainings.

The first to go are our web users from Istanbul and Nicosia. For them we have prepared a presentation of our most recommended KNX products (in English) and we hope to see you all there.

Forget the usual commercial presentations. This is more a technical crash-course with information and solutions you can apply in your everyday installations.

We will present the best products of KNX manufacturers such as: ARCUS, BILTON, ELSNER, IDDERO, IPAS, MDT, LINGG & JANKE, INTESIS, etc.
