Futurasmus KNX Group attended to the opening of the TIBCA (Taiwan)
Mr. Stephan Erasmus, CEO of Futurasmus KNX Group, was the guest of honor at the presentation and special board meeting of TIBCA, the new Association for Intelligent Buildings in Taiwán. The Act took place in Taichung, one of the leading cities for green buildings and automation in a country that is especially sensible to this subject. The event was covered by more than ten local and national press and media representatives.
Mr. Li Zhizhong, in the picture, is not only the founder and president of the association, but also a KNX expert with own training center. He and his team of KNX programmers are pioneers in this sector and are doing a great job to promote the KNX standard nationwide.
Mr. Erasmus also offered a 3 day training for Mr. Li´s staff and the two of them also found several ways of collaboration. Finally, we would like to thank his generosity and hospitality during our visit.

As from the 9th of June 2013, Futurasmus will be present in the Chinese market, not only online (www.futurasmus-knxgroup.cn), but also with headquarters in Beijing.
In this magnificent country, where KNX has been formally approved as “The Technical Specification of HBES Control Network – Home and Building Control System”, Futurasmus will be the official distributor of the following KNX manufacturers:

Our commercial partner, Beijing Handz Engineering & Technology Service Co., will follow the philosophy of Futurasmus: excellent KNX support, full KNX solution and great conditions.
Mr. Li Hao, Technical Manager and KNX Tutor, and Mr. Yin Shuai, Sales Manager, are the skilled and experienced KNX professionals who will be in charge of Futurasmus China and its team.
From now on, the Chinese KNX partners have a new option to buy their components from: not an online shop, but a real national wholesaler. Our Chinese list prices include the shipping to Beijing, customs, taxes, and any other import costs.

TOUCH IT SMART: GREAT IMPROVEMENT OF A GREAT PRODUCT
Two years ago the manufacturer Arcus surprised us with the 3,5'' color touch display called Touch IT which had an amazing functionality and a high end finish. There was no product with similar characteristics for that price in the whole KNX market and there still isn’t anything like it.
Nevertheless, the fact of having to use an external temperature probe for the thermostat function turned out to be a major disadvantage in some projects. For this reason, Arcus in response to the needs of integrators, has redesigned the display in order to integrate a temperature sensor and named it Touch IT Smart.
After a lot of hard work, the engineers from Arcus have not only been able to integrate the IR temperature sensor in the display, but also thanks to a hardware redesign they have managed to reduce its price maintaining the same functionality (which has expanded during the last two years). This hardware redesign includes the relocation of the microSD slot in the frame making it accessible at all times, the images stored inside can be used as screensaver.
As a reminder, we list below some of the many functions that this color touch display can carry out, as well as some new features:
• 3,5’’ color touch display
• Up to 48 completely customizable functions.
• Compatible with all types of data points (from 1-bit to 14-bytes)
• Allows the use of own texts and icons.
• Integrated temperatura sensor.
• Complete thermostat function.
• RGB control.
• Alarm management module with acoustic signal.
• Week time programming editable by the final user.
• Scenes editable by the final user.
• Lines or bar graphs (requires microSD)
• Telegram log from the KNX Bus (requires microSD)
• Astronomical clock
• Logic programming via LUA language.
• Password protection of each element or page.
• Screensaver with clock, fixed image or image gallery.

The available colors are Aluminum, Black and White, all of them are manufactured on metal which gives them a high quality finish.

Futurasmus KNX Group participates in the 1st Middle East KNX forum
The KNXA Association takes off in one of the most prosperous regions, the middle east, by participating in 'The Big 5, International Building and Construction Show', which will be held in Dubai from 5th to 8th of November.
With the motto 'Innovation & Sustainability in Construction', this fair has attracted many KNX manufacturers and the Association will be there with its own stand and mainly organizing the Forum '1st Middle East Forum of KNX Technology and Application for Home and Building Control' which will include discussions to inform and draw the attention of professionals of this sector.
Stephan Erasmus CEO of Futurasmus KNX Group will be the person in charge of speaking on behalf of the KNX international Association and give guidance to all the participants who are interested in certified KNX training at all levels.
In addition, Futurasmus KNX Group organizes its own course, which will take place on November 12 at the Hotel Ramada Chelsea, in Dubai, concerning the most relevant KNX products from manufacturers such as Arcus, MDT, Elsner, Bilton, Iddero, Intesis, etc. and mainly , the Home Control Center and ComBridge Evolution, the most innovative KNX visualization solutions, from IPAS.
