Up to now there were only two ways to connect remotely from Internet to any device:
• Hire an static IP Address from the ADSL company
• Hire and set up a DDNS service for your router

Stuff Finder is an easy-to-fix, simple and affordable device which converts any dynamic IP address into a hostname or URL address, easy to remember and selectable by the user. For instance, in order to access into a home or remote camera, instead of typing the IP address (http:// 88.167.2.12) the user could have the option of using an easier name such as http://myhome.atomity.com

One of the main advantages of Stuff Finder is that it doesn’t need any kind of configuration and it is 100 % plug and play. The joint presence at the l+b 2014 of KNX manufacturer Iddero and their official distributor also in Germany, Futurasmus KNX Group, has been highly positive for all parties. Also visitors were very positively surprised after a thorough look at the devices and didn’t hesitate to recommend others to come and see for themselves.

KNX Manufacturer ARCUS presented in l+b2014 their new KNX Choke with name “KNX- Drossel- DR16“. But we also had the pleasure to welcome Mr. Namdar and Mr. Hollmann in our Futurasmus internal meeting before the fair. We had the chance to see the product, discuss every detail with them and congratulate them on their big hit.

Don’t be deceived by its name, this product is actually one the most interesting new devices launched at the fair and probably the only real innovation (all the rest new devices being great updates of existing categories of devices).

For the first time, you can convert any standard off-the-shelf power supply (for instance, 24V Meanwell PSU) into a real KNX power supply!!

Please note that the biggest KNX power supply in the market at the moment is only 640mA, whereas the DR16 has current rating of 1600mA! Previously, there was no real need for more than 640 mA, but today the needs have changed and the new products (especially small KNX controllers) are more demanding in terms of power consumption.

Not a regular choke: as you know, a choke is usually integrated in every KNX power supply. Sometimes, we need to buy separate chokes for those KNX PSUs that have an additional direct output (unchoked) in order to convert them into two KNX power supplies.

This is a complete different story: the Arcus choke has got all the additional electronics integrated so as to guarantee the (very difficult to achieve) characteristic curve of a KNX power supply.

Thanks to this, the DR16 is a unique key product to maintain the high KNX standards, but enabling you to use low-cost, high-quality, standard power supplies. And the best part is DR-16 list price: 50,00 € (check with us for buying conditions)
