LEDs represent the modern lighting trend worldwide (both for interior and facades) and that is a fact.

LEDs have existed for a long time, but have recently been enormously optimized for the lighting of home and building. Once the problems caused by heat generation were solved, there are only advantages:

Since they have become a more and more important issue in home and building automation projects, there are already various ways to integrate LEDs in a KNX System.

The last light+building left very good impressions on many of us mainly because of the discovering of new KNX manufacturers which offered new and interesting products.

One of this manufacturers was without no doubt CONTROLtronics, with different system devices as well as a wide varity of capacitive push-buttons. This range of products will be available progressively along this year.

Now the turn has come for its CT.1.1.1. commissioning tool. It's a kit that includes a KNXnet/IP interface, a 320mA power supply, one WI-FI access point and a LAN switch, all this pre-installed in a carrying case smaller than an A4 and ready to work by only plug-in 230V, also an optional cable to its interface CM.1.1.1. connected to the KNX bus.
