The combination sensor can measure wind speed, precipitation, brightness and twilight. Brightness can be measured separately for the cardinal points East, South and West. • The combination sensor is equipped with a DCF77 receiver which can receive the legal German time (CET or CEST) and transmit the signals to the KNX/EIB bus (e.g. to synchronize KNX/EIB clocks) • The internal heating of the combination sensor protects the electronic circuitry against dew and condensation in the specified temperature range. It does not protect against the formation of ice on the housing or on moving parts. • For checking the function of the wind-wheel, the software of the weather station can effect a plausibility check of the wind signal. If the software detects signals that do not make sense, the system can move wind-sensitive fixtures (e.g. external blinds, awnings) into a wind-protected position. Unlogical signals are transmitted, for instance, when the wind-wheel is blocked due to icing. • The combination sensor needs an external 24 V power supply, e.g. Order No. 1024 00. • The other functions of the device depend on the software of the weather station and on the parameters programmed. The room actuator is used to control electrical loads of three different building systems that are typically used in a residential, office or hotel room:The first four relay outputs of the room actuator can be set in the ETS software configuration either to blinds operation or alternatively to switching operation; mixed operation of these two modes of operation is also possible on the device. In blinds operation the relay contacts of the room actuator can be used to control electrically driven blinds, shutters, awnings, venting louvers or similar curtains for 230 V AC mains voltage. Alternatively, the actuator can switch electrical loads such as lighting systems in switching operation. The relay contacts are bistable, which means that the last switching state set remains unchanged even in the event of a mains voltage failure. Furthermore, the room actuator has two additional electronic switching outputs, which allow si-lent control of electrothermal valve drives for heating or cooling systems. Up to 4 electrothermal valve drives can be connected to each of these electronic outputs, which are protected against overload and short-circuit. By combining the functions of the room actuator´s outputs, in many cases it is possible to plan and execute electrical installations on a room-specific basis.     The video distributor is an active component for line adjustment of the video signal.
    The video distributor distributes the video signal of the door stations, DCS-camera-gateways and DCS-IP-gateways to the home stations. It is required when the wiring routing to the video components of the Gira door communication system is carried out as a branch line. It ensures the proper terminating resistance to prevent possible reflections of the individual branches and the resulting picture disturbances.
    The video distributor is cascadable. A total of up to 15 video distributors including video multiplexers can be used in one system.
    The combination housing makes three installation types possible:
    • Surface-mounted (in a standard junction box)
    • Flush-mounted (in a flush-mounted device box)
    • As a DRA device (with the included DRA adapter)
    No further configuration is necessary during start-up because the video distributor automatically adapts to the existing mains supply.
